Located in Vancouver, BC, I have been doing art and design on a hobby and volunteer basis for many years. I am now seeking to centre creative work in my life and career. An optician by trade, I recently left my patient-focused job to pursue eyewear design. I am currently working towards a Certificate in 3D Design through the Continuing Studies program at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, which I expect to complete in early 2019. Beyond art and design, I am passionate about freedom of expression, anti-assimilationist queer liberation and intersectional anti-oppression, science education and communication, musical theatre, fan culture, and Dungeons & Dragons.
